Jack’s Comments: This decal was placed on all cars with temporary tie downs. It should be installed on the rear valance right behind the license plate. There are several versions of this decal manufactured since Ford used this on Mustangs starting in 1964 so who knows what version they used to copy it. This version is considered the most correct for 69-70 Mustangs because it was copied from verified original 69-70 Mustang takeoffs by the same anal 1969 Boss 302 owner who made our axle tags.
1969 inspection sheet instructions (top left):
”Perform the following operations (checks, alignments, replenishments, adjustments, corrections, ETC.) during the pre-delivery inspection. Use the Ford card maintenance and lubrication manual for procedures.
Each item listed on the "Service Sheet" is to be checked off when the operation is completed. Upon completion of the pre-delivery, the sheet is to be signed and dated by the technician performing the pre-delivery.”
